Go-ing up

Due to extra demand we are increasing our capacity by adding another massive 300,000 cu.ft. balloon to the fleet in September which will carry the artwork for the Go’s experience voucher business which offers a whole range of activities from ballooning to llama trekking.

The balloon which is being built by the worlds leading manufacturer Cameron’s will be built entirely in the latest “Hyperlast” fabric which not only give it fantastic strength but will enable it to fly for a longer duration more efficiently.

Book now to be one of the first to fly in the new “Green Machine”

Press Release

Ashley Hill decided to propose to his partner Holly Brafman in a unique way and contacted balloon ride company Go Ballooning. Originally he had looked to go from another of the companies nationwide sites in Gloucester but it was suggested to him that coming to Northampton and being part of the balloon festival may make the occasion even more memorable alongside all the other balloons.

Ashley had carefully prepared the weekend away and even arranged time off work for Holly without her knowledge. Crew from Go Ballooning quickly unfurled a huge 20m banner with the proposal message set amid red hearts as the balloon took off. As the 105,000 cu.ft. Thompson Directories balloon rose into the air Holly was able to read Ashley’s proposal laid out on the ground below before landing some time later at nearby Pytchley.

The couple now have lots of planning to do and were looking forward to telling their families and friends the good news.

All the pilots and crews at Go Ballooning as well as the organisers of the Northampton Balloon Festival wish them a marriage made in heaven or least up in the clouds!
